Our group had such an amazing time thanks to Zen Wine Tours and Jan’s hospitality throughout the day made the trip so special and unforgettable.

Ambiance and service were outstanding, complete with fresh local strawberries, stunning wildflowers and chilled water bottles. Jan made everything feel so effortless, enjoyable, and incredibly memorable. His extensive knowledge of the wine industry and warm relationships with the wineries made us feel right at home at each stop. Highly recommend! 10/10! Can’t wait for our next Zen Wine Tour adventure! 🍇🍷✨

With each new winery we visited, we kept saying, “Jan, you’ve outdone yourself!” Each experience was unique and lots of fun. He spent so much time talking with us in advance to learn what kinds of wine we liked and what kinds of experiences we wanted. He designed the day’s itinerary from beginning to end. There were even special touches in the car he drove for us, like beautiful, fresh cut flowers, amazing fresh-picked strawberries and water bottles for us. We decided to buy a lot of wine while in Napa, but the best decision we made was hiring Jan!
Denise CoganSeptember 24, 2024Wonderful! If we had to sum up our time with Jan and Zen Wine Tours. Our group decided to hire a driver guide to help us pick and navigate our wine adventures in Napa and Sonoma. We decided that hiring someone to drive would give us the ability to taste freely at the wineries without anyone having to be designated driver. It was so well worth the extra expense. Jan went above and beyond showing up with everything and anything we might need, even spoiling us with fresh berries. He is friendly and knowledgeable about the different regions, wines and wineries. We booked him for 2 full days of tasting and he quite frankly had everything to do with us enjoying our experience to the fullest. If you’re just looking for a driver or an experienced guide we highly recommend Zen Wine Tours it’s worth every penny!

Upon booking he called us to coordinate all the logistics and ask if there was anything he could help us plan. The day of our tastings he texted us when he was on the way and arrived on time and with waters, snacks and even fresh strawberries from the local market. Jan is a great tour guide and knows all about the Valley. 10/10 recommend for your next visit to wine country!!
Amy MooreheadAugust 24, 2024Jan is wonderful! He thought about everything we might need: snacks, water, a cooler, etc. He even arranged a special extra mini tasting for us to fill time before dinner one day. He is very knowledgeable and so thoughtful and kind. Highly recommend!

The car was a massive luxury suv that was nice and spacious, which I was very grateful for as we traversed windy mountainous roads. Jan went out of his way to make us comfortable and make the day special including a lovely birthday surprise. Perhaps most importantly, the wineries that Jan and Cynthia recommended were absolutely incredible and by far the best we went to the entire trip. Jan made sure we had a unique and intimate experience and we could not recommend the experience more highly. If you want to do Napa right, this is how to do it!
